Why was this forum created?
This forum was created to make a space online for a pro-rescue and anti-breeding guinea pig forum based in Australia (and, because I like you guys, for our Kiwi friends too). I want this forum to be a friendly, helpful place that will allow guinea pig nuts in the Southern Hemisphere to come together and discuss all things pig: from where to buy the best hay (or least worst hay, weather willing), to the best way to house guinea pigs, to what veggies to feed, etc. Yes, we are pro-rescue, and anti-breeding. Yes, as the forum creator I am a crazy whale hugging, tree hugging, bunny hugging vegan... but don't let that put you off. Friendly discussions bordering on friendly debates are welcome. Just don't get mean, okay guys? Remember to discuss, not argue.
Rules (but not too many!)
1. Please introduce yourself before posting anything else, and state your age (or age bracket) so we know when we're talking to a younger person.
2. Be nice. It's not hard, just be nice. :)
3. Try to write complete sentences and avoid chat speak. It just makes things easier for everyone to understand.
4. Be nice. Just to reiterate.
I may alter the rules as we go along.
